Finally, I am told my medication went through...

Had meeting with doctors today. They said they received a call from governors office. Doctors tried to lobby for me and explain I have medical needs that are not being addressed.  They confirmed that with someone there. I don't know who. The only doctor they know that treats my condition, with knowledge of it is  4 hours away and even then, not sure if they will accept me. They don't just take regular referrals.  And will take patients out of a 60 mile area.  I am afraid the help is too late with my dental problems. They did tell them it had been necessary and that I did have immune problems that are serious with this.   Even if they do the work now, its too late for my top teeth. The surgery cannot be done now without reconstruction and they Won't want to do all that I bet so, I have no idea how to fix that problem now.

My son is still waiting to see his dentist.  I don't know what will be done there. I still do not have the disability I need to cushion me during this time financially.  I still have another procedure, and test need. I guess that doctor will put in writing to them why he needs and and see if he can get it now.  He had asked for other test, but I was told when I tried to do the lab work that  they were un-necessary!

Even with medical confirmations, Medicaid asked my doctor if she could try to get me in at the place "I" had found.  Doctors said she will try again.  But that's just part of the problem...  I wonder how long it will take to get my disability and before they act on anything!

Will keep things posted until I get specialist and disability going.
